One has heard of bio fuel but not circuits made of bio products. It is really a strange and amazing an innovation. A circuit board has been made from soybeans and chicken feathers! This innovation is the creation of Mingjiang Zhan and Richard Wool in collaboration with Intel. It is the creation of a printed circuit board using chicken feathers. The micrograph is made of feathers which contain hollow keratin fibers. These fibers have been combined with a soy-based epoxy to make a printed circuit board.  These circuit boards are faster than conventional boards. They can also be recycled with ease. One of the biggest problems being faced today is the disposal of chicken feathers. By using this innovation the chicken feathers can be converted to printed circuit boards. This effectively kills two birds in one stone. The development of such innovations will definitely go a long way to improve our earth.
